I found this while I was cleaning my room a few days ago. It's nothing special, but I liked it. I think I did it for a social studies project about three or four years ago. Mechanical pencil. Sorry it's so faint, I think I might redo it. Now that I'm older, wiser, and equipped with graphite.

Despite its being faint, it's still a beautiful portrait: you've captured the gentle, compassionate spirit of the man, in his eyes, his smile. Lovely work. You might just try going over the shadowing with the darker graphite, rather than start all over again--though I'm certain a new portrait would also be beautiful! ;) :D

Thanks so much for your comment! I probably won't do anything with it. It's an old drawing, more of a "Oh, that's what I could draw when I was fifteen. Cool," sort of thing.

Yeah, I've been obsessed with India lately. I went for a third time last spring break and haven't gotten it off my mind. This one was done way back when for school, though. :)
